Thomas L. Szabo is a photographer drawn to sacred places and fantastical urban architectural detail. His photographs of Manhattan, taken over seventeen years with various cameras and telephoto lenses, celebrate rediscovered sculptural art hidden on the tops of skyscrapers and on smaller residential and commercial buildings. A scientist who has authored two books and hundreds of journal articles, he has worn out many pairs of shoes in his search for architectural treasures long neglected.
